Royalty Free License

By purchasing and downloading royalty free music from harmonicMedia you or the named business (The Licensee) agrees to abide by the terms of this license. Our license agreement is very generous for the price. Under our agreement your one time payment allows you to use the sounds purchased from us in almost any way you wish. The major limit we put on our sound files is that you may not post them on the internet for download and you cannot resell or redistribute them as a collection.

1) All royalty free music is licensed on a non-exclusive basis.

2) Copyright does not transfer to The Licensee. All rights remain the property of the copyright owner.

3) The license is non-transferable and is validated by proof of purchase. The Licensee cannot share, re-sell, reproduce or otherwise transfer the royalty free music to any other individual(s) or business.

4) The license lasts for 100 years from the date of purchase, and the territory is world wide.

5) The Licensee may only duplicate the royalty free music for the purposes of allowing synchronization, or for archiving/achieving compatibility with licensee's production equipment.

6) You may edit our royalty free music (fade, crop, cut, stretch, loop) etc. to fit your project.

7) With respect to any royalty free music available from harmonicMedia, neither harmonicMedia nor any of its employees, makes any warranty, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, or assumes any legal liability or responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information, apparatus, product, or process disclosed, or represents that its use would not infringe privately owned rights. harmoncicMedia's liability shall in no event exceed the actual price paid by The Licensee for the license.

Examples of Legal Use:

website sound design (commercial and personal)
games (console, PC, handheld, web, downloadable)
software applications
commercial productions such as music, film
broadcast: tv, radio, cable, Podcast
audio brand identification (audio logos)
ringtones
hold music

You can:

use and distribute these sounds in a Flash Animation, Powerpoint demo or other multimedia presentation.
use these sounds on radio, television and in films without reporting to ASCAP or BMI
use and distribute these sounds in a product such as a toy or an alarm clock.
remix our music into your own music (simply adding vocals to our music needs special permission).
use these sounds as a background sound for a web page

You cannot:

take our music and/or sound effects and sell them as your own. This includes repurposing our collections for ringtones.
Make copies of any of our CDs and sell, rent or distribute them in any way
