MIDI files

MIDI is a flexible and low bandwidth technology for sonifying the web, games, ringtones, music composition, live performance,synthesizer programming and other multimedia. The tradeoff for small file size is varying playback on different sound cards. Sound cards have a variety of synthesis methods: two common ones are wavetable (sample based) and FM (frequency modulation) synthesis. Wavetable samples sound more realistic than the mathematical tones of FM. Listen and download MIDI files below.
